Sales Director – Data Centers – US and Canada
Job Description
The Sales Director – Data Centers is responsible for identifying and closing new sales opportunities. The candidate will carry an individual quota and will be responsible for retiring that quota on a quarterly basis through the closing of new sales. Demonstrable understanding of the data center, cloud computing and telecommunications industries is required. Should have some experience with multi-year contracts, with a long sale cycles and customized services offering. Must display the highest integrity at all times, and be able to clearly communicate.
Main tasks
• Successfully prospect new opportunities via his/her established relationships and contact network
• Navigate around sales barriers of entry
• Maintain awareness of the competitive landscape, market pricing and strategy
• Account Planning, revenue forecasting and opportunity management
• Negotiate and close contracts with new customers.
• Manage long-term relationships with customers
• Leverage sales through partnerships
• Work closely with NoviFlow’s management team, marketing, and customer fulfillment teams
• Participate in trade shows and local area networking events
• Responsible for overall accountability for business growth within account/geographic base
• Strong skills in prospecting, replacing an incumbent vendor, and protecting the installed base
• Demonstrate knowledge of a process for developing and managing a territory including forecasting, quota attainment, sales presentations, short-term, mid-term, and long-term opportunity management
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university
• Knowledge in sales of technology (managed IT services, systems integration, hosting, cloud services, subscription software services, IT management all relevant).
• 8-10 years proven success in solution based selling, preferably selling an internet, network or cloud-related products
• Proficient with MS Office applications
• Experience in Internet and Telco Industries helpful
• Have an understanding of the data center, cloud computing and telecommunications industries
• Consistent Performance at or above Quota and Top 20% of Peer Group
• Familiarity with SalesForce.com or other SFA tool for forecasting and sales activity tracking
• Familiarity with SDN and OpenFlow highly desirable

Job Description
As a key member of the Software Development team you will design, develop and test embedded software for networking products that bring together Open Systems, Network Virtualization and fully Programmable Network Logic to meet the needs of Data Centers, Network Service Providers and researchers in Software Defined Networking technology.
Responsibilities
You are a skilled embedded software developer with a strong background in TCP/IP flow processing and experience developing in multi-core, multi-threaded environments.
• Writing design and functional specifications
• Developing and enhancing embedded applications
• Performing complex subsystem level unit tests
• Collaborating with the other team members throughout the development lifecycle
• Participating in code reviews
Qualifications and Skills Required
• 5 + years of relevant professional experience in embedded development using C/C++
• Experience in Linux user-space development (using system calls and library functions)
• Very good understanding of L2 to L4 of TCP/IP Networking
• GNU, CVS/GIT/SVN or any other industry standard Version Control, Bugzilla, GDB, Microsoft Office utilities etc
• Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to write clear and articulate functional and design specifications
• Ability to perform in a deadline driven environment
• Excellent team player with a high level of self-motivation and initiative
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written (bilingualism is an asset)
• B Sc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, B.E.E. or equivalent
